Video - Jan Mayen directed by Michael Fragestein
"Jan Mayen" is the title for a music video directed by Michael Fragstein at Büro Achter April for Boozoo Bajou´s Album '4'. The video is really beautiful. Abstract as the director says just like the music. There are some really lovely animations of forms into and out of other forms and I love the colour combinations. Very intersting work being created by Michael and his team at Büro Achter April, they are based in Stuttgart, Germany. Work divided into stills, motion, design engineering and interactive with the really relevant subtitle "Digitale Form". Vibeke Sorensen's Visual Music Installation | Beyond 3D Festival ZKMKarlsruhe
Vibeke Sorensen's Visual Music Installation, Illuminations is being presented as part of the ART section of the 3-D Festival Beyond at Karlsruhe, Germany from 03 October to 06 October, 2013. The installation was also held at the International Visual Music Symposium of the Center for Asian Art & Design, (CAAD) at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, October 12 - 14, 2012.  I attended the installation in Singapore, and it quite stunning.  The screens are presented at angles in a darkened room and the imagery is luminous and colourful.  The interaction between the imagery on each screen is analagous to a visual music. "Call for Entries 2010 The avant-garde-artists of the “Absolute Film” movement worked on visionary film experiments. They created visual symphonies from animated images which they composed on film according to their perception as artists. These were called “paintings in time”, ”visual music”, “symphonies of light and sound”, “cinematic paintings”, “color light music” or “space light art”.
