Alberto Novello - Frame from Feedback Plane#2 Alberto Novello's art practice approach "Alberto Novello a.k.a. JesterN ’s practice uses found or decontextualized analogue devices to investigate the connections between light and sound in the form of contemplative installations and performances. He repurposes and modifies tools from our analogue past: oscilloscopes, early game consoles, analogue video mixers, and lasers. Video - Jan Mayen directed by Michael Fragestein
"Jan Mayen" is the title for a music video directed by Michael Fragstein at Büro Achter April for Boozoo Bajou´s Album '4'. The video is really beautiful. Abstract as the director says just like the music. There are some really lovely animations of forms into and out of other forms and I love the colour combinations. Very intersting work being created by Michael and his team at Büro Achter April, they are based in Stuttgart, Germany. Work divided into stills, motion, design engineering and interactive with the really relevant subtitle "Digitale Form". Ryoichi Kurokawa - Japan - audiovisual artist
"Ryoichi Kurokawa is a japanese audiovisual artist. His works take on multiple forms such as screening works, recordings, installation and live performance. Kurokawa composes time based sculpture with digital generated materials and field recorded sources, and the minimal and the complexities coexist there. Kurokawa accepts sound and imagery as a unit not as separately, and constructs very exquisite and precise computer based works with the audiovisual language. That shortens mutual distance, the reciprocity and the synchronization of sound and visual composition. He also performed live-visual for musicians such as HUMAN AUDIO SPONGE(ex.YMO: Sketch Show + Ryuichi Sakamoto). In recent years, Kurokawa is invited to numerous noted international festivals and museums …

He has been making most of his animated films with optical and mechanical setups, using the computer as a controller and composition machine in order to orchestrate the precise movements of optical components. His installation making grew out of the tools he developed to make his films, often inspired by the lesser frequented by-ways in the…
